Coworking Space for Health Tech and Life Science Start-Ups in Boston, MA

Our story:

The JPOD @ Boston is designed to serve as a health tech industry coworking space for scientist entrepreneurs and life science start-ups in New England.

Nestled in the heart of Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and co-located with the Cambridge Innovation Center’s (CIC) newly renovated “launchpad for exceptional entrepreneurs,” this JPOD is primed to connect promising start-ups working in the pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer and digital health sectors to Johnson & Johnson experts and resources from around the globe.

The shared workspace is also located in the same building as Johnson & Johnson Innovation’s Boston office, which has full and broad deal-making capabilities and a team that seeks to collaborate with regional entrepreneurs at start-ups, universities and institutes developing early-stage innovations across our areas of interest.

The JPOD @ Boston is the second JLABS’ JPOD to open in the United States, with the JPOD @ Philadelphia being the first.

JPOD @ Boston includes opportunities for BLUE KNIGHT™ residency. Blue Knight is a  joint initiative between Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). The collaboration aims to stimulate the innovation and incubation of science and technologies that may improve health security and response by supporting  companies focused on public health threats and emerging infectious diseases.
